Mornings start early for me with a cup of coffee in the sitooterie at the bottom of my garden, watching the wild life.
Birds and mice out looking for breakfast...frogs returning to the pond after a night out hunting...hedgehogs on their way home to bed...bees, butterflies, snails, spiders...plants blooming and dying.
I endeavour to record some of the amazing life that goes on in this small garden only yards from a main road, in words and sketches in my journals.
I would like to thank the staff at Edinburgh City Library for digitising these journals and adding them to their Capital Collection.
